My Top Picks from the Anniversary Sale

armto table (2)

If you’ve been on the internet in the past week, you’ve likely heard someone mention the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! My Instagram feed is flooded with try on sessions, ‘must have’ recommendations, and what seems like a frenzy to stock up on staple items. I felt exhausted from the sale before I even started shopping! haha. Don’t get me wrong…I appreciate the overload of posts and Instastories from those I follow, because I love the Anniversary Sale just the same! You can never be too informed about a good sale, am I right?

In my last post I shared items I had my eye on from the catalog, and those items that are on my wish-list for the upcoming season. As a cardholder, I was able to shop the sale this past week and have already received almost everything I purchased! (Also thanks to a website hiccup, I received 10 points for every dollar I sent one day…thank you internet!) While I didn’t buy everything on that wish-list, I did snag a few and after a lengthy unboxing and try on session I wanted share what I’m loving, and what is going back.

*Haven’t shopped the sale, not a Nordstorm card holder, or everything is sold out in your size!? NO worries! The sale goes live to the public this Friday July, 20 and restocks will be happening!*

Halogen Calf Hair Slingback ($64.90/$99.95)- Purchased these and wanted so badly to love them. They are gorgeous in person and are the PERFECT leopard flat for Fall but unfortunately for me, they are going back (tear). Only reason being- I found them to run wide. I have VERY narrow feet and there was a bit of room left where the slingback meets the front toe part. If you have normal, average (or even wide) feet- HIGHLY recommend. If not for that one issue, I would have kept them!

Vince Camuto Kochelda Over the Knee Boot ($159.90/$239.95)- Over the knee boot perfection! Ordered these in the Taupe color and they are beautiful! Fit true to size and are so comfortable. The heel is the perfect height and actually provides great support, and the suede material is buttery soft. The Taupe color will go with EVERYTHING for Fall/Winter. Definitely grab these!

Tory Burch Marsden Flat Thong Sandal ($149.90/$228.00)- Got these in black and LOVE them! They were instantly comfortable and really fit well. I’m obsessed with the Tory Burch Miller sandals and these fit just like them. Available in three colors and would a great sandal staple as we transition into Fall.

Nike Air Max Thea Sneaker ($78.90-$105.00)- Received these and found them to be very comfortable but for me, fit wide. Again, I have narrow feet and very high arches, so these might fit better on someone with flatter feet. Sending these back and will keep my eye out for another pair. TONS of sneakers on sale!

Barefoot Dreams Cardigan ($76.90/ $116.00)- After passing on purchasing a Barefoot Dreams piece the last two years during the Anniversary sale, I finally decided to see what the hype was all about. I ordered this one (CozyChic Lite Circle Cardigan) in Pacific Blue/Silver Heather color (I wanted the Stone color but it’s currently sold out. Hoping it comes back in stock!) I received it and immediately felt transported to the spa! SO cozy and feels like you’re wearing the softest cozy blanket. The fit is fantastic and the Circle Cardigan gives great coverage over the rear, and is super flattering with the open front. Sadly, I didn’t love this color so it’s going back. I’ve got my browser on search though, and my eye out for the Stone color once it’s back in stock!)

BP. Stitch Curve Hem Cardigan ($31.90/ $49.00)- The perfect open front cardigan for Fall! Comes in a bunch of colors (I got the burnt orange color) It’s lightweight and airy (anyone else hate the cold, but hate to be hot in sweaters??). It looks great with leggings and flats, or jeans and booties, or over a cute dress. Definitely holding on to this one.

Gibson Blouson Sleeve Fleece Pullover ($35.90/$54.00)- I loved the look the billowed sleeves on this sweater online, and it’s even cuter in person! I love the bright purple color, its vibrant and the perfect pop of color now with white jeans or with black pants for a work event.

Socialite Tie Waist T-Shirt Dress ($31.90/ $49.00)- Loved this more online than I did in person. I thought the fit was a tad big and the front tie hit my at a place on my waist that accentuated it…and not in a good way! I felt it made me look bigger from the side and didn’t find it all that flattering. I got my regular size-small-but would recommend sizing down. Unfortunately, had to use the return label for this one.

SPANX Lace Hipster Panties ($15.90/ $24.00)- I like to refer to these as a moms best friend 🙂 They suck you in at all the troublesome areas…for me that’s the ‘mom area’ in my lower stomach/abdomen. The sit high enough on the waist that they help pull in the tummy without making you feel like you’re wearing a corset! The adorable lace detail helps give them a sexy feel and even help to erase the appearance of panty lines.

Rebecca Minkoff Medium Keith Suede & Leather Satchel ($196.90/$295.00)- I didn’t purchase this bag, but saw it in person and absolutely love it! The suede is so gorgeous and the leather so crispy and clean. It looks to be able to hold a ton of stuff for your every day, but still look cute as an evening bag too.

Le Specs Air Heart Cat Eye Sunglasses ($58.90/ $89.00)- I tried my first pair of LeSpecs glasses a few months ago and I’ve been so happy with the quality of them. These cute cat eye glasses look cute on all face frames and I love the tortoise frames. Whenever I find a cute pair of sunnies that fit right, are good quality, and are priced under $60- I call that a win, win!

Melinda Maria Jaguar Cuff ($84.90/ $128.00)- Melinda Maria is a jewelry brand that I’ve had my eye on for months. As a Stella & Dot Stylist I have the luxury of sampling a ton of fabulous jewelry (which I love!) which gives me an abundance of options, so when I stray from that brand, I want to make sure it’s to buy something I know I’ll love. I can’t resist any animal inspired jewelry pieces, so when I saw this Jaguar set (also available in a necklace and earrings) I had to have it! So gorgeous!

Kendra Scott Kristen Drop Earrings ($42.90/ $65.00) – So happy to see this pair of earrings available in so many colors. Great options to wear now and later, and under $50! The diamond shape is so flattering, and they are surprisingly lightweight. Perfect worn alone as a statement earring, or paired with a pendant necklace.

NeuLash Lash Serum Duo ($150.00/ $245.00)- I purchased this set last year during the Anniversary sale and can’t say enough about it. This is the first lash serum I ever tried and not only does it really work, it lasts! I’ve used other serums but found that my eyes and eyelashes responded best to this one. This set includes a full size and travel size of the formula for the price of one full size. SUCH a great deal and would recommend giving it a try- even if you have a lash booster you already love!

Charlotte Tilbury Pretty Pink Lipstick Set ($60.00/$90.00)- Give me all the CT lipsticks!! These lipsticks are my absolute favorite- gorgeous colors, smooth finish and long lasting. This set comes with two lip colors and my favorite lip liner (the only one you’ll ever need!) in the shade Pillow Talk. Worth.Every.Penny!

GlamGlow Clear Skin Set ($59.00/$96.00)- GlamGlow is another product I tried for the first time during last years sale, and it quickly became a staple in my beauty drawer. The mask included in this set is one of my favorites. It leaves skin feeling clear, freshened, super soft and oil free! I loved the results I saw immediately after using the mask, and after using it once a week for just a few weeks I noticed a considerable difference in my skins complexion and brightness.

Bobbi Brown Hydrating Skin Care Set ($72.00/ $118.00)- An unexpected beauty product that I have fallen in love with. I’ve always been a huge fan of Bobbi Brown make up so decided to try the eye cream and skin supplement in this set. After using the intensive skin supplement, it is the product that made me a believer in applying a serum/supplement or oil to your face daily. It gave me such bright skin and helped diminish the appearance of fine lines and dullness. If you’re in the market for a new regimen for your skin- I would highly recommend!

What are you shopping/loving from this years Sale?! There is a TON that I haven’t sampled yet so I’d love your feedback on any Must-Haves! XO
